PROFILE: Gianni Vio was born in Venice on April 6, 1953.   He has an UEFA  B Diploma.  He is a scholar of the game, in particular of “restart”  situations.   In the last few years, he has developed a very modern and innovative approach to these phases of the game,  whereby the teams that he has coached have increased by 30% the number of scores resulting from restarts.   The principles, methods and schemes supporting these concepts are included in the publication “+30%” (book plus CD)  and have been presented and discussed in various soccer seminars in Italy.   Gianni Vio presently collaborates with the Venezia team, with specific responsibility for restarts.
